He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jane Sheriff (Owens); his children, Sandra Lynn Berg, Michael Johnson Sheriff and Matthew Dale Sheriff; and his siblings, Mattie S. Bolick, Edd Sheriff and John Sheriff. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
