She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherrill Rainey Atkins and Lewis Carroll Atkins; and her siblings, Jimmy Atkins, Jennifer Atkins and Paige Atkins Wynn.

She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Houston (Justin) and Andrea Erickson (Leif); her sister Linda Atkins; her grandchildren, Brandon Erickson (Frankie), Austin Erickson, Bryson Erickson, Kelsey Houston and Carson Houston; and her great grandchild Mason Erickson.
