It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles James of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Grady James and Myrtle Louise Bridges James. He is survived by: his daughters, Dona Couch of Easley, Kelley London (Mark) of Simpsonville and Cortney Darnell (Robin) of Travelers Rest; his sister Ann Taylor (Glenn) of Piedmont; his grandchildren, Casey, Corey (Amber), Chase (Amy), Syvanna (Colby), Spencer, Chandler (Parker) and Reagan; and his friend Nancy Swilling of Pelzer. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Keenagers at City View First Baptist Church.
