With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carole Ann Thornton (Travelers Rest, South Carolina), born in Kinston, North Carolina, who passed away on December 13, 2020 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Matthew Thornton; her parents, Kenneth Howard and Lucille Frances Campbell (Brophy); and her brother David Campbell. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Thurman (Lorenzo), Rebecca Saldivar (Samuel), Lorraine Armstrong (Nathan) and Angela Gross (Jeremiah); and her brother Kenneth Campbell, II (Linda). She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren.
