He is survived by: his daughters, Portia Ann Broome (Larry) of Travelers Rest and Freda Quidley (Shawn) of Slater; his sister Hattie Bryant; his grandchildren, Amanda Nix (Michael), Scott Broome (Felicia) and Blake Broome (Mary); and his great grandchildren, Ella Nix, Chloe Nix, Kara Broome and Chandler Broome.
