She is survived by: her husband Charles Wendell Tate; her sister Martha Mattox McHugh; her daughters, Jennifer Tate Burgess (JJ) of Travelers Rest and Susan Tate DeMars (Rion) of Travelers Rest; her grandchildren, Lydia, Joel Burgess, Rebekah and Hannah DeMars; and her niece Nancy McHugh Morris.
