He is survived by: his wife Nellie McCauley Johnston; his sons, Bryan Johnston, Gregory Johnston (Johnnie) and Randall Johnston (Becky); and his siblings, Mildred McConnell, Joyce Brown and David Johnston (Sylvia). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
