Billy Ray Peacock Obituary
In loving memory of Billy Ray Peacock (Travelers Rest, South Carolina), who departed this world on March 2, 2025 at the age of 92. Billy leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Though Billy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Billy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, T. H. Peacock and Ruby Curtis Peacock; his sister Shirley Peacock Decker; and his brother-in-law Adrian Decker. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Curtis Peacock (Brenda), Phillip Scott Peacock (Amber), Tracy Rowe (Warren) and Leslie Caldwell (Benjamin). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Foothills Baptist Church (1204 N Hwy 25 Bypass, Greenville, SC 29617). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
