It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertie Epps (Travelers Rest, South Carolina), born in Sylva, North Carolina, who passed away on March 22, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Epps; her parents, John Evans and Susie Lister Evans; her children, Larry Epps, Frank Epps, Roger Epps, Joey Epps, James Epps, Cheryl Culpepper and Susan Epps; and her grandson Jody Adair.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Steve Goss (Sara), Beth Cantrell, Freida Rafferty (Chad), Tim Adair (Leslie), Joel Culpepper (Donna), Debbie Jiminez (Ralph), Byron Epps, Jeff Epps (Tiffany) and Jimmy Ray Epps. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
