Beala Ray Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beala Ray of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, born in Piedmont, South Carolina, who passed away on October 31, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Milton and Ruby Daniel Bowen; and her grandson Brian Thornburg. She is survived by: her husband Gary F. Ray; her children, Michelle Thornburg (Dale), Allen Ray and Jenny McClellan (Allen); her grandchildren, Adam Thornburg, Ashlin Ray, Caitlin Tuten, Travis Starling, Jordan Askew and A. J. Robinson; her great grandchildren, Rubyrose Andon and Rosalee Thornburg; and her siblings, Edith Simpson and Lamar Bowen (Betty). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
