He is survived by: his wife Marella Meche; his children, Marty Meche (Kelly) and Pamela Pelafigue (Mike); his grandchildren, James Sudduth III, Noah, Lucas, Olivia, Avery Meche, Maisie Pelafigue and Ashlyn Pelafigue; and his sisters, Clophina Cormier and Mary Thibodeaux.
