He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Jody" Thornton (Leppard); and his children, Stephanie Gentry, Amy Thornton (Mike), Amanda Thornton, Ricky Young (Stephanie), Barry Thornton (Sonya), Brandon Miller (Crystal) and Tyler Thornton (Ashley). He is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
