She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Mullinax; her parents, Jordan A. Batson and Nora Belle Edwards Batson; and her siblings, Louise Allen, Earl, Elgin, Gaston, Truman "Doc", Jones and Arnold Batson.

She is survived by: her sons, Phillip Mullinax (Donna) and Randy Mullinax (Betsy); her granddaughters, Megan Mullinax Spear and Sadie Jordan Mullinax Rivera (Danny); and her great grandchild Emma Spear.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the Enoree Baptist Church (881 Tigerville Rd, Travelers Rest, SC 29690). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:50 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
