He was predeceased by: his parent William Jay; and his siblings, William Prater, Jimmy Prater and Frances Snipes. He is survived by: his parent Louise McLees Prater; his son Mac Alan Prater (Kristy) of Seneca; his sister Dorothy Weimortz; and his son Misty Hill Lane.
