With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Williams Gleason of Townville, South Carolina, born in Sandy Springs, South Carolina, who passed away on June 11, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh Marshall Gleason; her parents, Thomas Evans and Emmie Whitfield Williams; her daughter Gail Terry; her granddaughters, Lesley Childers and Angela Maria Ruhland; and her brothers, Revis Williams (Bonnie), Jack Williams (Margie), Roy Williams (Osteen) and Clyde Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Gleason Lail, Jean Gleason Hodges (Byron) and Gary Hugh Gleason (Ellen); and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Williams and Laura Gleason Morrison (Luther). She is also survived by six grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Double Springs Volunteer Fire Department, 2601 Old Dobbins Bridge Road, Townville, SC 29689.
