She was predeceased by: her parents, Lane Lycester Honea and Julia Mae Price Honea; her aunt Alma Morgan; and her nephew Keith Meredith. She is survived by: her grandson Brian; her husband Melvin Donald Porter; her children, Lynn Whitman of Townville and Brian Porter (Angie) of Walhalla; her grandchildren, Eli Whitman of Seneca, SC, Christopher Kramer (Dana) of Kingsland, GA, Taylor Whitman (Parker) of Townville, SC and Owen Porter (Hailey) of Walhalla, SC; her great grandchildren, Bentley Kramer, MacKenzie Smith, Kolemen Whitman and Chloe Jones; her siblings, Richard Honea of Townville, Kaye Meredith (Doug) of Seneca, Sheryl Holbrooks (Robert) of Seneca and Peggy Garner (Ronnie) of Townville; her siblings-in-law, David and Martha Porter of Pickens; her uncles, Truman Price of Altus, OK and Joe Price of Seneca; and her aunt Wilma Jean Stephens of Seneca. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
