She is survived by: her son Steve Spearman; her adoptive daughter Debbie Leighton; her brother Henry Whitfield, Jr.; her niece Jane Hooper; her close friends, Dr. Rodney, Angela Powell and Chris Powell (Ali); and also David Powell (April).
