She was predeceased by: her husband Augustus "Gus" Prater; her parents, Joe Evans and Cora Hughes Evans; her son Tommy Joe Prater; and her brother Ellis Evans.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Prater and John Prater (Mary Ann); her grandchildren, Sierra Prater, Scarlet Prater and Jonathan Blake Prater; and her siblings, Ruth Shaw and Joe Frank Evans. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
