She was predeceased by: her husband Olin T. Childress, Sr. of Townville; her parents, Norman Sam Rogers and Bessie Barker Rogers; her son Kenny Childress; and her siblings, Doyle, Glenn, Dennis, Virgil, Roy, William, Norman Rogers, Essie Rogers, Grace Lewis and Lorene Moser.
She is survived by: her children, Olin "Tom" T. Childress, Jr. of Albuquerque, NM, Gary Childress of Seneca and Nancy C. Barnes of Seneca; and her sisters, Sue Hunter of Salem, Joan Addis of Salem and Carol Queen of Walhalla. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
