He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Ham and Josey Dority; and his wife Ethel Dority. He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Howard (Charles) of Timmonsville, Bennie Dority (Beth) of Timmonsville, Ellen "Judy" Amerson (David) of Timmonsville, Wanda Howard (Ronnie) of Timmonsville, Billy Ray Dority (Penny) of Timmonsville, Deborah Reynolds (Gene) of Lamar and Lorrann Morrell (Carl) of Rathdrum, Idaho. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
