She was predeceased by: her parents, Foster Hill and Annie Oliver Hill; and her sisters, Violet Knight and Marion Anderson. She is survived by: her husband Harry Kirby of Timmonsville; her children, Ann K. Perry (Mitch Owens) of Hemmingway, Mary K. White (Allan) of Florence and Oscar Thompson of Moncks Corner, S. C.; her siblings, Emma Jean Skinner of Florence and James Russell Hill of Timmonsville; her grandchildren, Gary Powell, Sr., Tiffani Filyaw Taylor and Ashely McCutchen Callen (Zane); and her great grandchildren, Gary Powell, Jr., Camryn Altman, Ella Faith Callen and Emery Hope Callen.
