She was predeceased by: her husband Roland Troxel Hewitt; her parents, Harry Richardson and Florence Richardson; and her siblings, Beryl, Enid, Olive Richardson, Dennis and Brian Richardson.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Hewitt (Lois) of Timmonsville, Claire Hobbs (Ivan) of Mount Pleasant, Beth Edmonds (Kirk) of Murrells Inlet and Harry Hewitt (Tammy) of Mount Pleasant; her grandchildren, Jennifer Peebles (Chris) of Florence, Ashley Dawkins (Preston) of Florence, Emily Hobbs of Mount Pleasant, Andrew McCarthy (Jordan) of Charleston, Todd Hewitt of Charleston, Jamie Ogletree (Luke) of Lexington, Heather Williams (Charles) of Florence, Logan Hewitt (Kelly) of Mount Pleasant, Mary Margaret LaRoche (Adam) of Mount Pleasant and Will Hewitt of Mount Pleasant; her brother Mark Richardson (Teresa); and her brother-in-law Jerry Hewitt (Vicki). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
