He is survived by: his mother Belle "Boody" Morrison Phillips Smith; his siblings, Donald Phillips (Ann), Cynthia Bridges (Harold) and Betsy Langston; his niece Laura Murphy (Jack); his nephews, Phillip Langston, David Phillips (Val) and Stephen Phillips (Katie); his great-niece Bett Murphy; and his great-nephews, Finn Murphy, Andy Phillips, Eli Phillips and Teddy Phillips.
