He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Knotts and Eva Filyaw Miller; his former wife Audrey Lee Knotts; his sisters, Joyce Ashcraft (Paul) and Ruth Tedder (CL); and his stepdaughter Faye Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Nellie Knotts of Timmonsville; his daughter Joann Knotts Conyers (Jamie L.) of Timmonsville; his granddaughter Beverly B. Dennis (Russell) of Florence; his great grandchildren, Madeline Dennis of Florence and Anna Dennis of Florence; his brother Gene Knotts (Shelby) of Scranton; his stepdaughter Connie Kelly (Jimmy) of Florence; and his son-in-law Ronnie Williams of Florence. He is also survived by four step grandchildren; eight step great grandchildren.
