With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacqueline Thompson Atkinson of Timmonsville, South Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on July 28, 2020 at the age of 67. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Thompson, Sr. and Ethel Lloyd Thompson; and her sister Miriam Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Charles Atkinson; her daughter Tiffany Hayes McDaniel (James) of Johnsonville; her grandchildren, Chris Powell (Brittney) of Johnsonville, SC, Amber Miles (Jeremy) of Johnsonville, SC and Andrew Powell of Johnsonville, SC; her great grandchildren, Hunter Miller, Bailee Powell, Gracelynn Miles and Grainger Brown; and her siblings, Jack Thompson, Jr. of Effingham, Pat Byrd (Jerry) of Effingham and Joyce Thompson of Effingham.
