He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Lawson and Ila Mae Conyers; and his brother Jimmy Conyers. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Collins of Latta, Lynn McKnight of Latta, Danielle Windham (Rodney) of Lamar, Crystal Gibbs of Lamar and Glenn Dale Conyers Jr.; and his siblings, Gerald Conyers (Carolyn) of Lamar, Lois Stevens (Lance) of Moore, SC, Lorine Smith (Henry), Ann Wilkes (Owen), Nancy Parnell (E. J.) of Lamar and Glenda Epps (Linwood) of Darlington. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
