Gladys Singletary Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Singletary of Timmonsville, South Carolina, born in Effingham, South Carolina, who passed away on November 20, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Luther and Annie Rebecca Filyaw Matthews; her spouse Charlie Brooks Singletary; her son Brooks Singletary; and her siblings, Luther, Fred, David, Wilbur Matthews, Doris Timmons and Annie Jo Skipper.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Anne Singletary; and her brother Don Matthews (Sylvia). She is also survived by her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
