He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward H. Morris and Deola Carroway Morris; his wife Evelyn Smalls Morris; his grandson Ray Johnson; and his brothers, Roy Morris and Jessie Morris.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Morris, Linda Poston, Kathy Morris, Sandy Piscezek, Kim Cheek (Ronald) and Georgia Turvin; his siblings, Ricky Morris, Jimmy Morris, Betty Davis, Janice Small, Carolyn Poston and Lisa Griggs; and his grandchildren, James Poston, Clinton Cheek (Rachel), Alan Johnson (April), Angel McGee (David) and Jason Young (Taylor). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
