She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Hanniford and Queen Esther Ferrell Hanniford; and her siblings, Rembert Matthews, Miriam Wright and Evie Joyce Granger.
She is survived by: her husband Laurie Odell Stricklen; her children, Douglas Earl "Dickey" Stricklen (Candace), Terry Hadden (Geoge), Melanie Nealey (Eddie), Ginger Waldrop (Ardy) and Holly Rabon (Joe); and her sister Judy June (Stuart). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
