He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Leo and Annie Lee Lundy Matthews; his siblings, Donnie Matthews, Betty Windham and Annie Jo Pace; and his grandchild Malachi Matthews.

He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Alsbrooks Matthews; his son Bryan Matthews; his brothers, Larry Matthews (Linda) and Kenneth "Bucky" Matthews; and his grandchildren, Madyson Boggs, Allen Matthews and Melissa Hunt (Ken).

Social distancing will be observed, you are asked to wear a mask.
