He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Knotts and Bonnie Mae Banfield Knotts; and his siblings, Janice Lynch and David Knotts. He is survived by: his wife Marion "Lula" Cribb Knotts; his children, Donna Jean Knotts of Lamar, Paul Barnes (Michelle) of Myrtle Beach, Dana Marinaro (Mike) of West Virginia and Tonya Amerson of Lamar; his grandchildren, John, Tommy (Sarah), Joshua and Jenna, Jr. (Kelly); his great grandchildren, Noah Allen and Millie; and his siblings, Walter Knotts (Thelma), Della Moore (Gerald) and Debbie Westmoreland.
