It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Coy Garbade of Tillman, South Carolina, born in Ridgeland, South Carolina, who passed away on June 16, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Coy departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Coy. Though Coy may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Garbade and Lena Daley Garbade. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Garbade; his daughter Sandi Perry (Bubba); his stepson Shelley Mims; and his grandchildren, Codie Mims, Collin Mims, Katelyn Mims, Jacob Johnson and Laci Johnson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
