Halcom (Cheryl) of Smithfield, NC, Scott Halcom (Melanie) of Marshville, NC and Doan Laney (Roger) of Indian Trail, NC; his grandchildren, Brandon Laney, Mason Halcom, Samantha Hilton, Jordan Hawkins, Blakelyn Chambers, Joslyn Halcom, Luke Halcom, Jordan Halcom, Tyler Nothstein and Devon Nothstein; his sister Betty Jo Troutman of Charlotte, NC; and his stepdaughter Christi Nothstein of Lowell, PA..
