She was predeceased by: her parents, Stewart Smythe and Mary Anne Smythe; her sister Mary Suzanne McKay (Sue); and her husband Richard Hames. She is survived by: her brother Stewart Smythe; and her children, Stephanie Alexy (Steve), Kim Hames, Suzanne Becker (Mike) and Kevin Hames (Sarah). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
