It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgieann Szalay Batley of Tega Cay, South Carolina, born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 25, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Szalay and Ann Yakim Sazalay. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Gaza Batley; her children, Dr. Jason Batley (Elizabeth Morgan) and Nicole Carl (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Morgan Batley, Miles Batley, Brenden Carl (Catherine) and Tyler Carl (Jackie). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
