With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frederik Northrop Smith (Tega Cay, South Carolina), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on March 19, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Smith and Louise Rose Smith. He is survived by: his wife Jane B. Smith; his daughters, Kirsten Elizabeth Smith and Marion Brune Paterson; his grandchildren, Greyson Frederik Smith, Idabelle and Emma Paterson; his brother Peter; and his sister-in-law Fumiyo Smith. He is also survived by three children.
