He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm Oswald and Lina Joppich; and his wife Nettie Joppich. He is survived by: his children, Patricia Mook (Randy Mook) of Tega Cay, SC, William "Bill" Joppich (late Caty) of Roanoke, VA, Nanette Stevens (Robert Stevens) of South Burlington, VT and James Joppich (Margaret). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
