She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Sands and Joseph E Bates; her husband Everett L. Ward; and her son Michael Lee Ward. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Ward, Timothy Ward and Judy Herzeca; her grandson Rodrick Faulkner; her great grandchildren, Troy Norman Faulkner and Anabelle Marie Faulkner of Tega Cay, SC.; and her sister Margaret Bates of Kokomo Indiana. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
