He was predeceased by: his father William Clarence Hollingsworth, Sr.; and his brother Herbert Leon Gambrell. He is survived by: his mother Sue Kirby Hollingsworth of Taylors; his wife Daphne Cox Hollingsworth; his daughters, Jessica Hollingsworth McCall of Taylors and Recina Lawrence of Lyman; his siblings, Nelson Hollingsworth of Taylors, Suzette Hawkins of Travelers Rest and Sandra Coats of Taylors; and his grandchildren, Courtney Scott, Suzanne Kendell and Connor Tew.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Calvary Christian Fellowship Food Bank, Post Office Box 586, Taylors, SC 29687.
