He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Peterson Doering and Walter Karl Johannes Doering. He is survived by: his wife Lillian Symanwicz Doering; his children, Walter K. Doering (Kay), Lila Turnquist (Steve), Anna Kladden (Jeff) and Laura Doering (Chris VanProyen); his granddaughters, Jennifer Brooks (Pete), Carolyn Boveington (Kade), Stephanie Tuemmel (Martin), Kathryn Doering (Aras Zygas), Caroline and Julia Doering; his great grandchildren, Aurora, Seraphina and Genevieve Tuemmel; and his granddaughter Evelyn Boveington.
