We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2019, at the age of 88, Thelma Edmond (Taylors, South Carolina), born in Bethune, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Franklin and Verdie Marie Lundy Smothers; her children, Carla Lane Powers and Michael Ray Edmond; and her siblings, Gloria Willis, William F. Smothers, Jr., James Arthur Smothers, Henry Pervis Smothers and Carl Byerly Smothers.
She is survived by: her children, Julia Gae Wood (Larry) of Taylors, Diane Marie Riggins (Frank) of Taylors and William Lloyd Edmond (Linda) of Taylors; her daughter-in-law Donna Edmond of Greenville; and her siblings, Brenda Marie Jackson of Anderson and Thomas M. Smothers of Greenville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild.
