It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shuntzie Jearn Poole of Taylors, South Carolina, who passed away on December 24, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter C. Smith and Vernette Mahaffey Smith. She is survived by: her husband Anthony Jerome Poole; her daughter Pepper Peterson (Gregory) of Greer, SC; her siblings, Melgie Porter of Rock Hill, SC, Glynis Webb (Robert Louis) of Ft. Inn, SC and Michael Smith (Brenda) of Leesville, LA; and her grandchildren, Vivica, Leilani, Kelli, Ashton and Aidan Townsend. She is also survived by nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
