He was predeceased by: his brother Richard A. Ashmore. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Stansell Ashmore; his children, Rusty Ashmore III (Marilyn) of Moore, SC, Dianne Stewart (Billy) of Greer, SC, Mark Ashmore (Jody) of Anderson, SC and Greg Ashmore (Paige) of Campobello, SC; his grandchildren, Adrienne, Laura, Carlton, Sara Beth, Alissa, Katie, Andrew, Jessica, Austin, Katharine Anne, Charles and Stansell; and his sister Becky King (Mike) of Greer, SC.. He is also survived by spouses; twenty two great-grandchildren; one step grandchild; four step great-grandchildren.
