She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Norva Eugene Spitzer; and her children, Norva Eugene Spitzer, Jr. (Kerry), Sandra Pike (Phil), Celia Brookshire (Mike) and Jeffrey Spitzer (Lisa). She was also cherished by twelve grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that contributions be made to the Edwards Road Baptist Church Children's Ministry.
