He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Claude M. Phillips and Lois Kilpatrick Phillips (Owen); his wife Ara Jenell Kilpatrick (Edwards); his children, Ara Beth Ford (Ben) of Travelers Rest, Rebecca Kilpatrick of Taylors and Jonathan Kilpatrick of Greenville; and his brother Joseph Kilpatrick (Mary Ann) of Lakeland, Florida.. He was also cherished by three grandchildren.
