He was predeceased by: his parents, P. L. Smith and Edith Powers Smith; and his sons, Tony and Dale Smith. He is survived by: his wife Gail Green Smith; his son Brent Smith (Tina) of Greer; his grandsons, Matthew Smith of Greer and Bradley Smith (Jill) of Greer; his great grandchild Maren Claire Smith; his daughter-in-law Teresa Smith of Greer; and his brothers, Lanise Smith (Julia) of Taylors and Ray Smith (Pat) of Taylors.
