He is survived by: his wife Pat Eleanor Tilley Snipes; his daughter Donna McLean; his son-in-law Pete McLean of Greer; his son Chuck Nelson; his daughter-in-law Cherie Nelson of Roebuck; and his sister Dorothy Mills of Kennesaw, Georgia. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
