She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Burdette and Carter; and her husband Calvin Gene Hicks. She is survived by: her sister Vivian Cox; her children, Terry Gene Hicks, Daniel Hicks, Ronald Hicks (Leslie Hicks) and Regina H. Johnson (Mickey); her grandchildren, Courtney Linder (Jonathan) and Mason Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Kolton and Keifer Linder.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made in her memory to the Hospice House of Laurens, whose care and compassion will always be appreciated.
