She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Bates and Victoria H. W. Bates; and her brother James Bates. She is survived by: her son Randall S. Stamey (Gina); her grandson Brandon S. Stamey; her sister-in-law Linda Bates; her niece Shannon Bates-Harrison; her nephew Brent Bates; and her great-nieces, Madison Bates, Sierra Bates and Lauren Bates Welchel.
