It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Eleanor Bache of Taylors, South Carolina, born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 23, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paris Alexander Shoaff II and Hazel Williams Shoaff; her husbands, Richard Newcombe McKee of New Castle, PA and David Howard Bache of West Lafayette, IN; and her brother Paris Alexander Shoaff III.

She is survived by: her children, Dana Louise McKee (Tom Stoner), Eleanor Leslie McKee, Jared Reis McKee (Lora McKee) and Douglas Newcombe McKee (Geni McKee); her grandchildren, Richard Newcombe McKee II, Elizabeth Reis McKee, Abigail LeGore McEwen, Liber Tomas McKee and Grace Eleanor McKee; her stepchildren, William McKee Bache, Molly Jane Sanford, Susan Elizabeth Brewer and Sally Ann Bache; her nieces, Carol Viehe, Susan Pick and Rebekah McKee; and her nephew Frederick McKee.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Foothills in Mary's honor.
